PageVid helps users turn documents and source text into clear knowledge videos. This page explains what information we handle and how to contact support.
Information We Collect
- Source material you provide, such as TXT, DOCX, text-based PDF files, and pasted text.
- Project information, such as language, length, visual style, voice settings, draft edits, render jobs, and export status.
- Purchase information needed to unlock paid features, such as product identifiers and transaction identifiers.
- Basic technical information needed to operate the app, such as diagnostics, server logs, and error reports.
How We Use Information
- To read and organize source material, create editable drafts, generate narration and visuals, render videos, and support exports.
- To verify purchases, restore access, provide support, and prevent abuse.
- To improve app reliability, rendering quality, and user experience.
AI Service Providers
Only after you give permission in the app, PageVid sends the source text or document you choose and your editing instructions to the AI provider serving your region. In mainland China, text processing uses DeepSeek and speech generation uses MiniMax. In the United States, Japan, and South Korea, both text and speech processing use OpenAI ChatGPT. These providers receive only the information needed to provide PageVid. PageVid does not use this content for advertising or tracking.
Data Retention
We keep project data, source material, and generated videos only as long as needed to provide the service, support exports, comply with legal obligations, or resolve support issues. You can delete either a guest account or an Apple-protected account directly in PageVid Settings. Purchase audit records are de-identified and retained only as necessary.
Your Choices
- You can choose what source material and instructions you provide.
- You can decline AI processing before uploading material and withdraw permission later in Settings.
- You can delete your account, project data, generated videos, and local downloads inside the app.
- You can contact us to request access or correction of your data.
Children
PageVid is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will review the request.
