What we collect
When you create a knowledge-video project, PageVid receives the source documents or text, project settings, draft edits, narration, visual directions, and other content that you choose to upload or enter.
How we use it
We use this information to read and organize your source, generate editable drafts, create narration and visuals, render videos, provide support, and process purchases. We do not sell your personal information.
AI service providers
Only after you give permission in the app, PageVid sends the source text or document you choose and your editing instructions to the AI provider serving your region. In mainland China, text processing uses DeepSeek and speech generation uses MiniMax. In the United States, Japan, and South Korea, both text and speech processing use OpenAI ChatGPT. These providers receive only the information needed to provide PageVid. PageVid does not use this content for advertising or tracking.
Your choice
You can decline AI processing and continue to browse the app without uploading source material. You can withdraw permission in Settings; new documents and text will not be sent for AI processing after withdrawal.
Retention and deletion
You can delete either a guest account or an Apple-protected account directly in PageVid Settings. Deletion removes server-side projects, source material, generated videos, remaining credits, and local downloads. Purchase audit records required for fraud prevention, refunds, accounting, or legal compliance are de-identified and retained only as necessary.
Purchases
Payments are processed by Apple. PageVid receives transaction information needed to verify purchases, maintain your credit balance, and create paid video versions.
